Would the New York Giants seriously consider trading their star wide receiver, Odell Beckham Jr.?

You’ve got to love the drama of the offseason! The NFL has been quite entertaining all year long over the last couple of years. Before, blockbuster trades rarely ever happened. Now, it feels like we get at least a couple every single year. Players aren’t afraid to speak their minds and make demands, while teams are not hesitant to move those who want out.

For the New York Giants, they haven’t been a team that has shied away from making trades this year. Although they never ended up trading their superstar wideout Odell Beckham Jr. last offseason like some may have expected, nobody will still buy that he is genuinely in New York for the long haul.

Seriously, I guess a contract doesn’t mean anything to the insiders, or the common fan anymore. Just this past offseason, the Giants decided to sign Odell Beckham to a monster extension instead of trading him away. And still, to this day, nobody is buying that Beckham is in New York for the long-term deal that he signed. Well, for what it’s worth, the Giants general manager Dave Gettleman wants to make it very clear that Beckham is going nowhere once again.

Gettleman Doubles-Down on his Claims

#Giants GM Dave Gettleman on Odell Beckham Jr.: “We didn’t sign him to trade him.”

On drafting Saquon Barkley: “If I was in that situation 100 times, I’d draft him 100 times.”
