Well, the Penguins lost their 4th in a row, a stretch in which the only point came in an OT loss.\u00a0 They’ve averaged just 2 goals per game over that stretch and have been outscored 15-8.<\/p>\n

The powerplay has looked anemic, the penalty kill hasn’t been great (though they killed off the only PP they faced last night), and they just flat out haven’t played well overall.<\/p>\n

Last night was a little bit of a different animal that had a little bit of a different vibe to it, and perhaps that had everything to do with the Pens playing the best team on earth.\u00a0 Perhaps it also had everything to do with it having a playoff feel or these two teams seeing on another for the second time inside of a two week stretch.<\/p>\n

Or, perhaps it had something to do with this:<\/p>\n
