UltimateNYG has won the award for Best Football Blog of 2010. This is the second year that this blog has been recognized by Bloguinmedia. Not only do we want to thank everyone who voted for us, but we would also like to thank the fellow bloggers at Bloguin who nominated us. Just being nominated by our peers has been a great honor. We are grateful to be with so many terrific blogs that span many sports and special interests in entertainment. We would like to recognize all the nominees and other winners this year. Because of every bloggers’ collective efforts, this network has a critical mass that is making everyone’s site stronger and more interesting.
The UltimateNYG site works on many levels. We want to thank everyone for their involvement at the site. UltimateNYG has a great community of visitors who make this forum unique. Everyone’s voice is respected. On the front end we are providing content that makes this site a place to visit for loyal Giants fans and fans of the entire NFL. Behind the scenes we have Derek and Ben working to make the platform grow and get better. None of this is possible without their work.
The Giants are 5-2. Let’s have some fun with the second half of the season and make some January (and February?) memories!

And lastly, a shout out to my Dad, the original NY Football Giants fan AND NY Baseball Giants fan from the Polo Grounds. He’s waited 56 years for this one. Between a 2007 Super Bowl and now a 2010 World Series win, his underdogs have come through big time. This is the first time I have seen his baseball team win the title. Incredible. Go “Giants!”
