This is what the score should have looked like vs the Jaguars. Due to work commitments, I had to leave the (tv) game with the Giants ahead 23-0 at the half.
The Giants played a lot of younger players. The Titans were midgets on the OL and the Gmen rung up 8 sacks including 2 forced fumbles. Eli had a lot of protection and Beckham picked up 130 yards and a TD (much of that in H1) en route to a very comfortable win. Kennard and Moore each had 2 sacks, and they are part of the future.
The Giants had zero turnovers. When you play against teams like the Jags, Titans and Redskins during this stretch, all you have to do is protect the ball and not beat yourself. For those of you who watched the 2nd Half, feel free to comment on what items that should also be noted.
One side note. I have been tweeting for ~3 games now that it is absolutely crazy that Beckham, your future superstar, to be returning punts. Every time he is back there his odds of sustaining an injury increase. It’s not a matter of if, but when he will get hurt that way. This makes no sense, other than if you are in a playoff elimination game late in Q4 and you need an extra spark. Otherwise, you need to protect your blue chip player.
