Tom Coughlin leaves field, waves to fans in (likely) final game as Giants HC

Baltimore 341

New York Giants head coach Tom Coughlin has had one hell of a run with the team. He’s won two Super Bowls during his reign, compiled a 102-89 record since taking over in 2004 and has done an excellent job of scheming and getting the most out of his players.

But all good things must come to an end, and with an aging Eli Manning, nonexistent run game and atrocious pass defense, now looks like the time to call it quits for the final time.

Reports are circulating that Coughlin will “ride off in the sunset” and retire at season’s end, which would make Sunday’s 35-30 loss to the Eagles his final game with the team.

Surrounded by cameramen, Coughlin walked off the field at MetLife Stadium for what will likely be the final time, and gave a casual wave to the fans on his way out.
