Trust me, when they get to Wilt Chamberlain (around minute 9), it gets good. UltimateNYG good. Moneyball good.
And then they get to Thaler. We blogged about Thaler 6 years ago. We read his paper and linked to it prominently back in the day. We even have a rule about how trading down in the draft is good, how Round 2 is all steak, no sizzle. Breaking the orthodoxy is hard. Apparently too hard for 32 teams. The only one who comes even remotely close to getting this right is Bill Belichick, and even he does not embrace it, not by a longshot.
Happy Summer. 1 month until Training Camp!
