Just clarifying something…
Look, I understand that the sexy stat is 9-0 … that’s nine straight elimination games the Red Sox have won in the ALCS while facing elimination, but let’s not delude ourselves. It’s 9-1 in the playoffs. I’m not trying to intimate we have no shot of winning the ALCS, but 9-0 is a flawed statistic. So let’s stop quoting it.
