2016 NFL Draft Part 6: Wonder’s Draft Board

Our analyst is not going to dilute his opinion to fit in with the masses.  He is unequivocal that this 2016 NFL Draft s*cks for talent.  Wonder: “If I can’t get one of my Top 6 guys for the Giants at 10 overall (especially considering they are taking 2 QBs early who are not in my 1st Round), I desperately want to trade down. If Elliott or Jack or Treadwell or Bosa is there and someone wants to pay me for that pick with a R1 and a R2 next year, done.  I do not even want a Round 2 pick this year, it is sooo bad.”

Finding 50 guys to fit into Wonder’s Top 50 was an exercise in pain management.  There were literally 9 slots still open that he had to fill by regurgitating on players he did not like that he had to insert into the list.  It was not pretty.  Fwiw, this sentiment completely echoes that of Pete Furman, the analyst for NYG Underground.  Both Wonder and Pete independently agree that this draft is woeful for talent.  Filling out a Top 50 made the process even more evident that players did not belong there that had to be put in to finish it.  If Spriggs falls to Round 2, just take him.  It is ridiculous that we have him ranked 16th, because Spriggs can be a very good pro, but he is not Top 16 material for your Round 1 coupon.  He just rises because there is no one else to put up that high. Remember that we have Spriggs ahead of Treadwell and Jack because of the injury risk.
