So let’s recap..

Note how Wonder was not so easy on his grading out of these CBs. Ross a 4? Well, you can argue he is a 3 but he has been replaced by Thomas and did not get his job back at the end of the year. Guys like O’Neal, Sheppard and (DeAngelo) Hall who made the Pro Bowl should be ‘entitled’ to a 2 rating, but only got 3’s because their careers did not maintain that high level of play. I just think back to the way Hall was easily undressed by the Giants; he’s an opportunist who tries to victimize a QB but gets burned too often against better teams … a 3 suits him to a tee. The summarized point is that CB getting a 3.3 is not charity. The position holds its own against the other 3 defensive positions graded so far.
