Super Bowl XLII- As the Eli to Tyree miracle was unfolding, in anticipation of a sack, I cringed and turned my back.  I did not see the play live. Seconds later, I hear my wife exclaim, “He caught it!”

Super Bowl XXV- Listen to Al Michaels remark about the Giants linebackers.  When Norwood was lining up to kick, the first thing which entered my mind was the 1982 Washington vs Giants regular season matchup. Recall, in this strike shortened season, the Giants needed a win to remain a playoff contender.  With the Giants holding on to a precarious 14-12 lead,  in the rainy, windy and cold weather at RFK,  Washington kicker Mark Moseley (a straight ahead kicker) booted a  game winning field goal as time expired.  Nevertheless, I thought Norwood was going to kick the winning field goal.  When he kicked the ball, initially, I thought it was good.  I held my breath.  A few seconds later, I finally exhaled as it sailed wide right.  What a game.

1986 NFC Championship game- The most dominating performance. The Redskins could not do anything on offense.  I loved Joe Morris touchdown run. (bread and butter) On the right side of the Giants offensive line, Nelson and Godfrey were stalwarts.

1990 NFC Championship game- Montana getting knocked out. Reasons fake punt return.  Fullback Maurice Carthon pulled a “Jackie Smith”.  Remember, early in the game, he dropped a touchdown pass.  The Roger Craig fumble was a miracle.  To this day, San Francisco  head coach George Seifert is kicking himself for calling this running play.  Instead of calling a power inside run, he called for an outside run.  The rest is history.  At the end, my heart skipped a beat, I thought Bahr’s field goal was no good.

4th and 17- This game was unbelievable.  This win was a confidence builder.  Subsequently after edging out the Vikings, the Giants never lost another game.
