I never thought I would see the day when Ole Miss won an SEC Basketball Tournament, but thanks in part to the man above taunting a top 15 team, while only up 6 with 7 minutes to go, it happened. It also really helped that Reginald Buckner decided to play with the switch in the "on" position. Though the three days nearly killed me, it was a great reminder of how much fun following a basketball team that's doing something not NIT-related in March can be.
Speaking of important March activities, this establishment's bracket pool is up, with the pertinent information below, and there are even more ways to win and lose. Not really, but it certainly raised intrigue levels in your brain to "hmmm, okay."
As always, the top three will receive some form of compensation. Past prizes have included old pictures on my desktop, a few PDFs I downloaded over a year ago, and the recognition of being one of life's winners.
This year, the winner will receive the chance to do a guest post in this space (WHAT A TREAT), and the fourth and fifth-place finishers will receive a participation ribbon of sorts so you can let the whole world know that you tried, but weren't THAT good. And, as usual, the person finishing in last will receive a public shaming in this space, which is always my favorite part of this ordeal.
So, sign up, tell your friends and the randoms you run across everyday to sign up, though they'll be terribly confused, because the more people that join, the less likely it is that you'll be on the business end of the public shaming.
