The more things do not change, the more they stay the same. Coughlin kept his Strength & Conditioning Coach, Jerry Palmieri, for yet another season despite 6 consecutive years of underperformance. So here we are in 2015 with another epidemic of soft tissue (muscle) injuries. The latest and not so greatest news is that Prince Amukamara has a pectoral strain. That he may be out much less than Beatty is not at all the point. For certain, as Giants fans, we are grateful it is a strain and not a tear. But what does it say when these muscles are prone to damage? It says what we have been saying for a year now, that the NY Giants have a structural and systemic issue with poor conditioning which is resulting in a well above normal amount of injuries as compared to their peers. This is now the 4th pectoral injury for the NY Giants in roughly a year. Coincidence? Puhleez. This list for 2015 NY Giants muscle injuries is not necessarily all-inclusive.
