Not that there are any expectations above “I’d like to see us give Tulane a game this year,” but you’d like to hear spring practice tales that allow you to convince yourself that six wins is a real possibility, even though it is certainly not. Instead, quotes like this one from Hugh Freeze about the offense serve as a good reminder that even Central Arkansas will present a challenge:
“We’re going to try to get good at something before spring is up.”
Based on what we had to watch last year, I’d settle for getting average.
