So I have this new feature on Facebook called “On This Day”. It basically reminds you of all the bad choices you’ve made in Facebook statuses. So I looked at my statuses and links for April 18th … today. Here’s what I found:
- 2010: A link to a story where the Mets are looking to call up Ike Davis.
- 2014: A link to my blog discussing the news that Ike Davis got traded.
- 2012: My status simply read: “Go burn down Atlanta, Ike.” (I don’t know what that means.)
I can only surmise that something very weird is going to happen today. But it will no doubt involve Ike Davis, Lucas Duda, or Mike Jacobs. I’m not sure all of us are going to survive. But for those who do, I’ll see you on the other side.
