Today, I thought I would dig into some of the UND players stats. Here’s a few things that caught my eye.
Freshman forward Brock Boeser 13-game point streak (10g-10a—20pts).
Junior defenseman Troy Stecher points in the four of the last five games (2g-4a—6pts).
Sophomore defenseman Tucker Poolman has been solid on defense but has a three-game pointless streak. Hasn’t had a penalty in 16 games.
Senior forward Bryn Chyzyk has equaled last season’s point total. Chyzyk has points in three off of the last five games (2g-2a—4pts).
Junior forward Luke Johnson has points two straight games (3g-1a—4pts). In the last seven games, he only has one minor penalty.
Sophomore forward Austin Poganski has points four of the last five games (0g-4a—4pts).
Junior defenseman Keaton Thompson has points in four of the last five games (0g-4a—4pts).
Freshman defenseman/forward Christian Wolanin has one point in the last six games that he has played in (0g-1a—1pts). Wolanin has gone five games without taking a penalty.
Sophomore forward Johnny Simonson has two points (0g-2a—2pts) in the last nine games.
Paul LaDue has six points (1g-5a—6pts) in the last 10 games.
Freshman forward Rhett Gardner has three goals in the last four games. Gardner has seven goals on 37 shots.
After going goalless in the first 25 games that he played in, senior forward Coltyn Sanderson now has goals in back-to-back games.
For the season, UND sophomore goalie Cam Johnson is (10-1-1, 1.45 GAA and .942 save percentage). In the last three games that he’s played in Johnson is (1-1-0, 3.14 GAA, .873 save percentage.)
