Former Fighting Sioux forward Chris VandeVelde received a two-minute minor for elbowing minor former Fighting Sioux All-Amerian forward Jonathan Toews. That just doesn’t look right.
Apparently, the NHL’s Department of Player Safety wasn’t impressed with this hit and will be taking a look at this. Vandy could end up getting a suspension for his transgression. Sioux on Sioux violence.
