Week seven of The Rig Rant …well….it hasn’t been pretty let’s just say that. It was a rough week ahead for the Oilers with away games against the Rangers, Ducks, Kings and Stars. The Oilers couldn’t seem to get much going offensively and by the end of the week, it looked as though they were on the verge of finishing the week with a 6 game losing streak.
Connor McDavid MAY have had something to say about that.
Now, JackieDee wasn’t able to get play by play tweets this week, so there won’t be many play by play comments. We’ll just have to let the tweets speak for themselves this week.

So the Oilers managed to snap out of their losing streak, thanks to Connor McHatrick and some stellar key saves by Cam Talbot.
#FunFact: Connor is now tied for first overall in the league with 22 points.
Up next week…
The Oilers head home for one game against the Chicago Blackhawks and then hit the road to face the Colorado Avalanche and Arizona Coyotes. It will be another test for the Oilers to see if they can keep the momentum going against some very tough opponents.
