There has been no end to the criticism directed at Peter Chiarelli for the trade of Taylor Hall for Adam Larsson. Whether it is based on analytics, emotion, or the simple, “WTF, that’s all they got for Hall?” – it is clear that the Oilers most controversial move of the off-season was trading the former 2010 first overall pick. However, the Oilers currently sit in a playoff position going into the new year which is something that hasn’t been the case over the past decade.
