We here at the Oilers Rig are excited to announce our 2nd Annual live show and fundraiser in support of the MS Society of Alberta. This years event will be held Saturday February 21st at Brewster’s Brewery and Restaurant Oliver Square starting at 4:00pm.
Multiple Sclerosis is a disease that hits home for us here at the Rig. MS affects over 14,00o people in Alberta alone and millions world wide. We at the Oilers Rig want to do our part to help raise awareness and funds to help shut out MS. All money that we raise will go directly to research aimed at finding a cure.
Last years show was an amazing time, we managed to raise nearly $2000 dollars and this year the goal is to triple that total. This years event will be bigger and better, Alex Thomas is going to fly in all the way from Boston to join us, we will do a live pre-game show followed by the Edmonton vs Anaheim game. There will be trivia, prizes, and of course an amazing silent auction filled with awesome sports memorabilia.
