No, I'm not being sarcastic here. The Mets claimed Ryan Reid off waivers from the Pirates. Here's what Adam Rubin says about him:

"Reid's fastball averaged 91.9 mph during his big-league activity. He also possesses a slider and a rarely used changeup."

Wait a second, a bullpen arm that can throw over 90 consistently? And he's under 30 years old? I would have settled for "younger than Atchison". But Ryan Reid is 28!
