Que the crazy day on the Oilogosphere! Linus Omark has resigned with the Edmonton Oilers. Yes you read that correctly the Edmonton freaking Oilers.
Omark, a veteran of 65 NHL games, played last season for Zug in the Swiss Elite league. He has signed a new one year, two way contract no financial details have been released.
This is very interesting on many factors as it previously seemed that Omark had worn out his welcome with the club and was set for another season in Europe.
Alex Thomas will be back later with a more in depth article on the news.
UPDATE — Alex Thomas’ article on the move can be read here
Thanks for Reading.
