They say that there’s no better sound than the first crack of the bat in spring training.
Judging by the scoreboard above, I’m guessing the first crack of the bat in Port St. Lucie will not belong to Scott Hairston. Probably not the second or third either. But he’ll be there to usher in the spring, and … umm, hope.
