I learned last night that Ty Burrell is a Mets fan. This came shortly after I learned that Ty Burrell was in a new movie called "Mr. Peabody and Sherman". You probably know Burrell from his work on a little show called "Modern Family".
If this interview on the Daily Show, where Burrell discusses why being a Mets fan is a "disease" had come one year ago at this time, somebody would have made a "you have a disease … and the cure is more Cowgill" joke. We can all thank our lucky stars that Collin Cowgill is long gone and there is no opportunity for anybody to make that joke. You will just have to settle for watching Jon Stewart have an Adam Wainwright flashback and go all "Post Traumatic Mets Disorder" on us.
