It occurs to me that even with the amount of sports hate I have for a handful of players on the Phillies, that on any given night I hate Hanley Ramirez more.
Big ups to SportsCenter for catching Ramirez going out of the way to kick the dirt on the pitchers mound Tuesday night on his way back to the dugout that had the Mets logo on it. Pathetic, much? I just hope the pitch that went up and in to Hanley later in the game was no accident, rather than a 48mph knuckler gone awry. Not that a knuckler is going to do much damage, but … damn, why couldn’t it have been Bobby Parnell in the game? Timo Perez got thrown at twice after hitting a ninth inning home run in Colorado, so hell I’d throw at Hanley again … just because.
