NCHC Hockey: Comparing the New Media vs. the Fan’s Power Rankings Poll

Last week, one of the voters in the NCHC Power Rankings Poll said that the poll had a bit of a bias and leaned towards North Dakota. That may be true. Being the good sociologist, I decided to conduct a fan poll and compare the results.

Here are this week’s NCHC Power Rankings Poll results

Here are the results of the fan poll that ran from the 1/27/2016 – 2/2/2016. You can see from the most part the results are very similar. There is some discussion on the middle of the poll and at the bottom of the poll.
