A year ago the University of North Dakota Football team came out in full support of the new Fighting Hawks logo.
“UND football is going to embrace this logo and what it represents,” UND head football coach Bubba Schweigert said.
Yes, indeed, the logo appeared on the team’s helmets for the team’s first game Sept. 1.
This season, the Fighting Hawks logo will also appear on the football uniform. The question some want to know, will the Fighting Hawks logo appear somewhere on the UND hockey team’s jerseys? Stay tuned.
