Officiating Recap Philadelphia Flyers Dec 8

The eighth game I’ll detail in the officiating review recap is the Flyers game from Dec 8^th. A full summary of the findings up to the end of December can be found here.

The Oilers dropped this see-saw affair 6-5 and the referees for that evening were Jean Hebert and Kendrick Nicholson.

The most frequently targeted Oiler was Connor McDavid, again. The most truculent Oiler was Jesse Puljujarvi (he took back-to-back penalties in the 1^st, but was engaged in three later uncalled infractions).

The most felonious Flyer was Wayne Simmonds who was penalized once and committed another seven uncalled infractions while being on the receiving end of an uncalled hook and high stick.

The Oilers committed 14 uncalled infractions and received 5 penalties, with one of those being a phantom slash called on Nugent-Hopkins.

The Flyers committed 29 uncalled infractions and were also penalized 4 times, all of them on blatant infractions.
