Twas’ the week before training camp….That’s right folks, this Thursday Edmonton Oiler veterans will report to training camp for physicals, then take the ice on Friday for the first practice of the new season. We’re exactly seven days away from the preseason opener against Calgary (split-squad) and less than four weeks away from the real deal on October 12th.

Oh….and the World Cup of Hockey got underway Saturday in Toronto. Yeah, I think we can get excited again everyone.
