The Oilers Rig Radio – 12/2/13

The Oilers Rig Radio returns tonight at 7:30 MT / 9:30 EST. I’ll be hosting along with Dave Gordon, who will be producing tonight. Jeremy Thompson gets a well deserved night off tonight, but don’t worry, everyone’s favorite producer will be back next week!

Tonight we will talk about the Oilers recent successful stretch of games, including a rare successful road trip for the club. We’ll talk about the team’s defense and some possible solutions to the issue that keeps plaguing the team, the top-pairing. We will also touch on a number of other topics like Darnell Nurse being snubbed from the World Juniors, and the Oilers goaltending controversy between Dubnyk and Bryzgalov.

We will also preview Edmonton’s up coming five game homestand, and how a good showing could push them back into the race, against all the odds.

We will be joined by Rob Soria (@Oil_Drop) of oildrop.ca as well as Lowetide himself, from lowetide.ca, OilersNation, and TSN 1260. We’ll be talking about the above topics with those guests.

Don’t miss a jam-packed edition of The Oilers Rig Radio tonight! Make sure to listen in and tell your friends, it’ll be a good time! We also might be taking call-ins (Time permitting) at the end of the program, so stick around for some possible interactive time!
