Has Jeff Petry been traded?
Maybe this is making something out of nothing but not long ago Jeff’s wife Julie tweeted the following;
Mind boggling is the only way to describe today. Lots of head scratching going on, but reminding myself it is all part of God’s plan.

Maybe it’s nothing and she is just as frustrated as I am about the oddness of Petry’s benching tonight, or maybe she just broke the trade that would be the only think that makes today make sense. If so the return had better be good because mark my words Petry is going to be a good defenseman in the NHL for a long time to come.
Who knows, hopefully I’m just paranoid. A trade would also make the article I just scheduled for tomorrow morning pointless, add that to the list of reasons I hope Petry is still an Oiler tomorrow morning.
