Report: Jaguars fire offensive coordinator

NFL: Jacksonville Jaguars-Minicamp

One day after Gus Bradley said there would be no changes to his coaching staff, the Jacksonville Jaguars fired offensive coordinator Greg Olson, the team announced Saturday. Quarterbacks coach Nathaniel Hackett will replace Olson as offensive coordinator.

Olson was in his second season as the Jaguars offensive coordinator after previously being the offensive coordinator of the Raiders, Buccaneers, Rams and Lions.

Last season under Olson, the Jaguars had the 10th-ranked passing offense, and quarterback Blake Bortles passed for 4,428 yards and 35 touchdowns with 18 interceptions. This season, however, the Jaguars have struggled on offense, and Bortles has regressed. He has thrown nine interceptions through seven games.

Olson joins Greg Roman and Marc Trestman as offensive coordinators to get fired this season.
