Tonight, it returns. The Edmonton Oilers are back in action and are looking to snap a nine year playoff drought. It’s truly a new era in Edmonton hockey wise; a new GM, new head coach, new franchise face and several new players with proven track records now wear the orange and blue.
Will it be enough to push Edmonton back into the NHL’s postseason? That’s the question we won’t have an answer to for a few months, but we’ll know soon enough.
