6 – Alex Plante
Drafted in 2004 15th overall. Plante was supposed to be a great all around defensive prospect. He had great numbers playing for the Calgary Hitmen in the WHL but he never was able to adapt his game to pro hockey. With just 10 NHL games under his belt Plante finished his career in 2013-14 with Dornbirn in the Austrian league.
