4 – Jason Bonsignore
This one hurts for us Oilers fans. Drafted 4th overall in 1994, Bonsignore was a very highly touted offensive prospect. Drafted ahead of guys like Jeff O’neill, Jeff Friesen and defenseman Mattias Ohlund. Bonsignore may be the biggest bust from the ’94 draft. The only saving grace for the Oilers in this draft was that two selections later they picked a young kid from the Moose Jaw Warriors named Ryan Smyth.
