2 – Nail Yakupov

Sliding in to second spot on the list Yakupov has the honor of being the highest overall selection in this top 10. Drafted 1st overall in 2012 Yakupov was never able to find his game with the Oilers. It is widely agreed upon the Nail was ruined by the carousel of coached that went through the Oilers in his years with the team, although some believe he just didn’t have the motivation to become the kind of player people expect from a first overall pick. This year Yakupov finds himself suiting up for the St. Louis Blue although he’s found himself in the press box more often than not for Blue coach Ken Hitchcock.
