4 – Oilers swap Reider for Kessy

Right before Steve Tambellini was fired, he was able to make one more lasting destruction to the franchise. Tambellini swapped forward prospect Tobias Reider in exchange for Kale Kessy. Reider did ask to be traded as he felt there were too many similar players in the organization for him to have success. The Oilers wanted to get bigger so they swapped him for a Coke Machine in Kale Kessy. Kessy’s career high of points in the AHL was 12. Reider had 37 points in the NHL last year. SMH. Believe it or not, this is Tambo’s last deal on this list.
