The Oilers Rig Week in Review

There was a lot to talk about this week at the Rig.

The best news of all was that training camp started and our own Dave Gordon was there to bring you the stories. Check out the Day 1 and Day 2 reviews.

We also had Brendan McLean write a feature on the Pacific Division, some good stuff there and maybe even a few things that might surprise you.

The Just Who Is series continued as we introduced you this week to Denis Grebeshkov, and Andrew Ference.

Jeremy Thompson pleads to Craig MacTavish to bring in a certain 4^th line center who can not only win face offs but fight too.

Alex Thomas wrote a piece about Taylor Hall playing the center position and also had a look at bringing in and enforcer or two.

And last but not least on Wednesday we aired another live episode of OilersRig Radio and were joined by Tyler Dellow of mc79hockey.com fame. You can listen to the podcast version of that here.

The Week Ahead

We will finish off the Just who is series with articles on Anton Belov and finally new head coach Dallas Eakins. There should also be a ton of information to talk about with training camp continuing and 3 preseason games this week, on the road in Winnepeg and Vancouver then at home next Saturday against the Canucks.
