Yeah, Lady Gaga was at this one too (they let her in, but not the vuvuzelas … go figure). But this time, notice how in all the pictures she’s respectful enough to keep her digits to herself at Yankee Stadium. But in her visiting ballpark, she performs in a manner that would have gotten you and me kicked out, but gets her Seinfeld’s box and on the cover of the Post. Well, the best revenge is a good pitching performance, and Hisanori Takahashi provided just that for the Mets’ eighth win in a row. So in all honesty, all Takahashi needed to do was flip the proverbial bird instead of a real one (which he never actually did … the picture was censored unnecessarily for effect by yours truly, by the way). Hopefully, this means that the Yankee fan will never darken Citi Field’s doorstep again. So take that, Poker Face. And put some pants on.
(Editor’s note: The Yankees indeed had the book on Takahashi from the last start. But it was on an iPad so it was banned from the Stadium. Oh well.)
