Starting next season, the University of North Dakota and the University of Minnesota will resume their historic rivalry when the two team play at Mariucci Arena on November 4-5, 2017. Fans of both programs will be pleased to know that the two teams signed a four-year agreement starting in 2019-20 to play a yearly two-game, non-conference series at rotating sites. Finally, the great news. Starting with this season, the two teams will play each other every year for the next seven seasons.
This also will include the Hall of Fame Game. Which was announced today. On October 27, 2018, the Gophers and the Fighting Hawks will play in the Hall of Fame Game at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. You will be able to buy tickets for that in Feb of 2017.
The #Gophers have also finalized a 4-year deal with UND starting in 2019-20, 7 years of the UMN/UND rivalry starts this year at Mariucci!
