By now most of you know that UND picked up a major commitment from BCHL star Tyson Jost. He was one of the top uncommitted recruits.
Excited to announce I will play for @UNDmhockey in 16/17. Thank you to my family, @PentictonVees @OkanaganRockets & @POE_Hockey #support

//platform.twitter.com/widgets.jsThis is another good pick up for the UND hockey team. I guess we could say that this is the first big recruit of the Brad Berry era. Even, though, Berry has been the head recruiter for a few years now.
Also, If you look back, you will see UND’s recruiting focus has changed since Berry returned to UND. I think this is a very good thing. UND has gotten faster and more talented on the blue line. UND has gotten faster forwards up front.
In essence, UND has gone from a team that will knock you out of the building and plays on the edge and transformed to a team that’s going to skate you out of the building. Don’t get me wrong, UND is still a very physical team, they just pick their spots and play more of a speed game.
