Anyone that is familiar with me knows that I can be critical of the officials. I know it’s easy to sit in the stands and or watch a game on television and with the use of video replay second guess the officials. I know it’s easy to pick apart a particular play or goal and critique the on-ice officials. But my seven-year-old daughter could get this call right. It’s so obvious.
Moreover, it’s examples like this that cause me want to shake my head. This is bush-league officiating. There’s no excuse for this. In my opinion, there’s no reason this goal should have counted. You can chime in if you want.
