According to the Boston Herald, the Bruins have recalled former UND goalie Zane McIntyre from Providence Bruins on an emergency basis. McIntyre took place in the optional skate with the Bruins at Warrior Ice Arena in Boston Massachusetts, earlier today.
The Bruins starting goalie Tuukka Rask is out with general soreness and is listed as day-to-day. The Bruins play their heated rival the Montreal Canadiens and second string Anton Khudobin (former Wild goalie) is expected to get the start against the Habs. So far, McIntyre has been very good at Providence and has the best save percentage in the AHL.
Some AHL games still in progress, but right now Zane McIntyre has best save % in AHL — .977. Given up 1 goal in 136:38.

Pretty telling that Zane McIntyre gets the callup over Malcolm Subban. Congratulations on the former @UNDmhockey star & Mike Richter winner
