Former Fighting Sioux forward Zach Parise has a fabulous opening night for the Minnesota Wild. When the Wild were struggling early, Parise kept the Wild in the game.

Here’s number one, and that was just the beginning of a very good night. At times, Parise was the only one that appeared to be skating. Number two was a hard working goal.
And finally, the third goal by Parise that gave the Wild the lead. Parise’s hat trick was the 19th all-time for the Wild. The Wild would hold on to win the game 5-4. So, Wild can unfire Mike Yeo.
Historic fact: the Wild scored the four quickest goals in their team’s history.
