It’s not even the offseason yet, but the Paul George rumors are already swirling.
George, who is set to be one of the most sought-after superstars in free agency this summer, doesn’t appear to be returning to the Pacers. And the Celtics, who were in talks with the Pacers up through the trade deadline, seem to be one of the most likely fits.
The Lakers, who George has commented that it would be his “dream” to play for them, are the other favorite to land him. Magic Johnson has said he wants to bring a superstar to LA, and George certainly fits the bill.
But ESPN analyst Chris Broussard actually doesn’t see PG13 going to either destination, which we haven’t really heard anywhere else.
It’s hard to know if Broussard is just trying to stand out among everyone else, or he actually believes this. NESN has the full story, and provided the quotes from Broussard, so head over there to check it out.
