Floyd Mayweather Jr. solidified himself as the greatest pound-for-pound fighter of all-time by dominating his fight against Conor McGregor on Saturday night.
As expected, McGregor came out swinging and went for the jugular — and you could even argue that he won the first three rounds. But it was all downhill from there, as it looked like Mayweather then “turned it on,” meaning that he actually began trying.
The GOAT put on a clinic and dominated from that point on, and “The Notorious One” was lucky to survive the ninth round. It wasn’t too long after that the fight was stopped, and Mayweather was declared the winner by TKO.
It was a total beatdown, and McGregor was left gassed and defenseless — after expending all his energy in being aggressive early in the fight.

McGregor trained hard and competed well — and he put forth a valiant effort — but he ran into the buzzsaw we now refer to as the GOAT.
