Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski returned to action for Sunday’s game against the Jets, and fought through the chest injury that had bothered him all week.
Tom Brady got off to a slow start in the game, but Gronk did not. He managed to get behind the Jets’ defense on one particular play, which should’ve gone for a touchdown, but Brady overthrew him. And he also got open down the sideline for what would’ve been a huge gain, but cornerback Darryl Roberts appeared to get away with pass interference on the play, hooking Gronkowski’s arm. The pass sailed incomplete.
Shortly after, though, Gronk exited the game with a back injury and made his way to the locker room.

It’s unclear whether or not Gronk will return to the game. We also don’t know exactly what play the injury happened on.
