Cleveland Browns safety Jordan Poyer had to be takenย to the hospital Sunday after taking a blindside hit from Tennessee Titans running back Antonio Andrews while covering a punt in the second quarter of Sunday’s game.

Poyer suffered a lacerated kidney from the violent hit, which was penalized. He was released from the hospital on Tuesday and the Browns placed him on injured reserve, likely ending his season.
Meanwhile, Andrews posted a video of the illegal hit on Instagram with the caption “relentless,” which has been deleted.
Poyer responded to Andrews posting the video on social media.

Browns coach Hue Jackson said he didn’t think the hit was malicious. Andrews can probably expect a fine coming his way and some hate for posting the video while Poyer was in the hospital.
