New Orleans Saints safety Kenny Vaccaro is reportedly facing a four-game suspension for violating the NFL drug policy for use of Adderall, sources tell NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Vaccaro, 25, is the team’s second-leading tackler this season with 44 stops. He also ranks second on the team in defensive snaps this season with 395, according to Football Outsiders.
Rapoport added that Vaccaro is still awaiting final word from the NFL of a potential ban and can play Sunday against the Denver Broncos.
A first-round pick in 2013 out of Texas, Vaccaro typically lines up in the slot or at strong safety for the Saints. Rookie Vonn Bell will likely replace Vaccaro.
