The Chiefs beat the Panthers 20-17 after being down 17-0 Sunday without the services of Justin Houston.
Houston could be available Sunday against the Buccaneers, according to Pro Football Talk.
The pass rusher was activated off the physically unable to perform list last week, but wasn’t ready to play against the Panthers.
Jameis Winston and the Buccaneers might not be so lucky.

Houston led the NFL with 22 sacks two years ago and had 7.5 in 11 games last season before he injured his ACL.
The Chiefs (7-2) are 21st in the NFL with 18 sacks. They could use the 2014 version of Houston as they fight to win an AFC West in which three teams have seven victories.
