Los Angeles Rams cornerback Troy Hill was reportedly arrested for DUI after getting into an accident with a semi truck on Saturday morning.
According to TMZ Sports, Hill allegedly swerved over multiple lanes and crashed into the back of a semi truck while driving on an L.A. freeway around 8 a.m., and officers noticed that Hill was showing signs that he was drunk. Hill was given a field sobriety test, and officers arrested him after determining he was under the influence of alcohol.
Hill was released from custody after 1 p.m., and the Rams released the following statement, via Joe Curley of the Ventura County Star:
We are aware of the incident involving CB Troy Hill that occurred Saturday morning. As it is an ongoing legal matter and we are still gathering information, we will have no further comment at this time.
Troy Hill will be inactive for tomorrow’s game versus the Miami Dolphins.
Hill, 25, has played in all nine of the Rams’ games this season, recording 38 tackles and two pass deflections.
